Portrait of Igor Stravinsky

In this contour drawing students reproduce Pablo Picasso’s Portrait of Igor Stravinsky. The directions are for students to turn the drawing upside down, so that the figure becomes less recognizable, and to draw what they see. The original is much easier to draw from this perspective because we tend to see the shapes and and curves and not the larger picture of what they represent.
