In this assignment the 8th grade class explored the work of M.C. Escher, known for his mathematically inspired drawings and prints. Maurits Cornelis Escher’s works often feature impossible constructions, explorations of infinity, architecture, and tessellations, tessellations tessellations. A tessellation is created when a shape is repeated over and over again covering a plane without any gaps or overlaps.
